In response to the "Healthy Taiwan" policy and to strengthen community medical networks, BoReTech Resource Recovery Engineering Co. donated a mobile medical unit to Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital on the 30th. Chairman Ou Che-Wen personally handed over the keys to Dr. Lai Ning-Sheng, Superintendent of Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. This donation aims to address the challenges of medical transportation in the rural areas of Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan (Yun-Chia-Nan), allowing medical resources to overcome geographical barriers and deliver professional healthcare directly to community households.

During his speech, Superintendent Lai Ning-Sheng pointed out that while the regionalization of railways has eased some transportation pressure, accessing medical care remains a significant challenge for the elderly or those with limited mobility. Dr. Lai emphasized that Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital is actively promoting the "Wound Care Project," where physicians visit communities to change dressings, sparing patients from the exhaustion of travel. Over the next five years, the medical team will take further initiative to extend professional medical care to cancer patients within the community. He stated that modern healthcare should not be confined within hospital walls; it must integrate transportation and information systems to bring high-quality, compassionate medical services to the Yun-Chia-Nan region and beyond—reaching as far as Nantou, Changhua, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung.

BoReTech Chairman Ou Che-Wen expressed that the core spirit of an enterprise should be rooted in "doing good." His son, Mr. Pao-Hao Ou, also shared a touching sentiment during the ceremony, noting that his father often teaches that "enterprises are merely temporary custodians of social resources." Therefore, businesses should give back to the public and charitable organizations, creating a virtuous cycle of kindness.

At the ceremony, Sister Chen Xiu-Xiu, a volunteer who recently suffered mobility issues due to a fall, personally experienced the vehicle’s barrier-free lift and securing devices. She shared that, as a user, she could deeply feel the stability and safety of the vehicle, a thoughtful design that makes individuals with disabilities feel respected and thoroughly cared for.

Superintendent Lai Ning-Sheng concluded that the hospital would honor the enterprise’s trust by properly utilizing this precious social resource. The hospital remains committed to spreading "Love and Humanity" to every corner of the community, realizing a vision of modern medical service that values both technology and human touch.
