BoReTech believes that a corporation is not merely an economic entity pursuing profit, but a pivotal force for advancing social progress and safeguarding our natural ecosystem. Since our inception, we have embedded "Green, Circular, and Innovative" into our corporate DNA, dedicating ourselves to the resource recycling industry to help build a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable future.
This is BoReTech's inaugural sustainability report. Prepared in accordance with international standards, including the GRI Standards, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the TCFD framework, it aims to transparently disclose our actions and performance in corporate governance, environmental protection, and social inclusion to all stakeholders.
Sustainable Governance & Blueprint
- Established a Sustainability Management Committee to strengthen governance functions.
- Adhered to international standards like GRI and SDGs for transparent disclosure.
- Zero incidents of corruption or anti-competitive behavior in 2024.
Green Circulation & Environment
- Completed greenhouse gas inventory, with total emissions of 28,752.43 metric tons of CO2e.
- Implemented a PET closed-loop recycling system with partners, reducing carbon emissions by 56%.
- Developed a "Zero-Waste Factory" model, converting waste into reusable resources.
Innovative Products & Quality
- Annual R&D expenditure reached NT$112 million, representing 2.07% of revenue.
- Launched diverse green products, including ocean-bound polyester staple fiber and biodegradable fibers.
- All three major production bases have obtained ISO 9001 quality management certification.
Prosperity & Talent
- Provided 6,890 hours of educational training and implemented 100% employee performance reviews.
- Sponsored local sports events and the World Robot Olympiad (WRO).
- Supported the community by providing aid for the Hualien earthquake, demonstrating corporate citizenship.
